If you are thinking of storing your data sequentially rather than at a single location, it is a good idea to do so instead. While I have yet to actually research storage technology, I have a number of articles in the “Storage,” in the “Storage, storage, storage” sections of this blog.
The fastest and most accurate way to do this is to use a rotating hard disk. These disks keep the data on them as long as there is some free space to store it. But you need to be careful with how you choose the size of the free space. Ideally you should only use a limited amount of space, since it’s the same amount of space as a traditional hard disk.
You should certainly keep your storage disks as small as possible, so that the data can be moved to your home. The storage disks of the new home don’t have a built-in hard disk, but they’re more than enough space to store a lot of data.
